Flowing water lines bending around a dark rock obstruction

Water & current

The water joins every habitat. Its solved current carries physical material and sensory evidence around rock without crossing through it.

How it is authored

A prevailing direction covers the whole world. Current strokes add local lanes. The solver bends those requests around rock and balances them into one shared velocity field.

What it transports

Reductant, ocean reactant, heat, suspended sediment and animal chemistry all use the solved water. Drifting bodies also receive its physical push.

Why circulation matters

A return route can carry animals and evidence between habitats. A strong one-way drain instead builds permanent sinks at walls and boundaries.

What animals know

Animals receive only the water cues their bodies can sense. Current can carry a useful plume, but it does not reveal a destination by itself.
